When to choose the 1,000 L IBC
Dimethyl sulfoxide is a polar aprotic solvent miscible with water and with most organic solvents, widely used in synthesis, formulation and technical cleaning. The 1,000 L IBC is the largest size in our range: it offers the lowest cost per litre and simplifies logistics for plants and distributors, as the discharge valve lets you transfer directly into tanks, drums or containers without handling intermediate packaging.

Storage and handling
Store the IBC container closed, under cover, protected from direct sunlight and moisture, as DMSO is hygroscopic. Below about 18 °C DMSO crystallises; this is a reversible physical change and it returns to a liquid state at room temperature. Handle with gloves and goggles in a ventilated area.

What happens if the DMSO solidifies during transport or storage?
DMSO crystallises below about 18 °C. Simply keep it at room temperature and it returns to a liquid state unchanged.
How is delivery arranged?
On a pallet, with transport quoted individually according to destination. Contact us to confirm the lead time and unloading logistics (equipment to move the pallet is required).
