When to choose the 200 L drum
Dimethyl sulfoxide is a polar aprotic solvent miscible with water and with most organic solvents, widely used in synthesis, formulation and technical cleaning. The 200 L drum is the intermediate step between the 20 L containers and the 1,000 L IBC: suitable for formulators and distributors with regular consumption who want to reduce the cost per litre without needing unloading equipment for IBC containers.

Storage and handling
Store the drum closed, under cover, protected from direct sunlight and moisture, as DMSO is hygroscopic. Below about 18 °C DMSO crystallises; this is a reversible physical change and it returns to a liquid state at room temperature. Handle with gloves and goggles in a ventilated area.

DMSO crystallises below about 18 °C. Simply keep it at room temperature and it returns to a liquid state unchanged.
