How do I prepare a 25% solution?
Dissolve 31.25 g of 80% chlorite per 100 ml of final distilled water, adding the solid to the water (never the other way round), in a ventilated area and with PPE.
What is the difference from 25% sodium chlorite?
It is the same substance in a different format: the powder contains ≈ 80% NaClO₂ and the solution 25%. 1 kg of powder is equivalent in chlorite content to about 3.2 kg of solution. More details in the 25% chlorite vs 80% powder guide.
